Today I’m going to be talking about used baby strollers.

It is much cheaper to get a used baby stroller as you may not be able to afford the full price of a new one (which is certainly no crime – seeing as how expensive having a child can be nowadays). Used baby strollers can be just as good as a brand new one, but you need to know what to look out for.

One of the best places to get used baby strollers is on eBay. You can purchase used baby strollers on eBay for a reasonably good price (much less than it would cost you new) and in good condition (as long as you are careful on what you bid for).

You will want to make sure you bid on a stroller that is still in relatively good condition. It still needs to be safe, so check the wheels (even if you are just looking at a picture) and try to get a general feel for the condition. I recommend that you DO NOT bid on any stroller that doesn’t have a picture – unless you are sure about what you’re doing.

Today I’m going to talk a little about twin baby strollers. Just to make sure we’re both clear, a twin baby stroller is a stroller designed for two babies. They differ from double strollers, however, because they look more like two single strollers stuck together.

One of the most popular twin stroller’s on the market is the Chicco Citta Twin Baby Stroller. This stroller retails at around $140 online.

This baby stroller has the usual 5 point harness which keeps your babies safe and secure. One of the best features about this twin baby stroller is that it’s light (which makes it easy to control). Another good thing about this stroller is that the baskets are spacious which means there is plenty of space, so you do not have to carry things separately.

Some parents have found that is hard to open and close but that might be because it is new and if you do experience this problem, it will soon sort itself out.

In my opinion I think this is the one of the best twin baby strollers in its price range.
The next twin baby stroller I want to talk about is the “Peg Perego Lightweight Side-by-Side Double Stroller”. This stroller costs a little more than the previous one (it’s around $300).

Some of its key features include:

Spacious seats, which also have their own individual canopies (or hoods), and the back rest can be moved to several different positions.

It has bumpers (which also act as trays) which gives some extra protection for your children, and are easily removed when you need to take your children out.

This stroller folds down very compactly, which means it can comfortably fit through normal sized doorways and fit in your car. This is also a very lightweight stroller, weighing in at around 14 lbs.

This stroller looks good on paper, but in the real world many people have been let down by it.

How have they been let down?

The wheels are known for getting stiff which make it difficult to control. They also have trouble with even the simplest of off-road challenges such as cracks in sidewalks, and getting over bumps.

This is unusual for Peg Perego to make a “bad” stroller, as they are well known for being a quality brand. But this stroller definitely lets them – and a lot of parents – down.

If you’re looking for an affordable and good quality twin stroller, I recommend the Chicco Citta Twin.

Today I’m going to talk about Eddie Bauer baby strollers.

Eddie Bauer isn’t one of the most popular makes of baby stroller, so don’t worry if you haven’t heard of them before. Baby strollers aren’t their main product.

I only know of a few strollers they make. One of them is the “Eddie Bauer All Terrain Tandem” and the other is the “Eddie Bauer Vector Sport” stroller.

We’ll talk about the all terrain tandem first.

Okay, where shall we start? This baby stroller costs around $180. It’s one of the strollers around that still has a three point harness system, instead of a 5 point harness system. (If you’ve read some of my other posts, you probably already know that I think 5-point harnesses are much safer and secure for your child).

This isn’t a particularly lightweight stroller either. It’s around 50 lbs, which is pretty have for a stroller. The product descriptions all say it’s easy to manoeuvre (but they all say that, don’t they?) however, from people who I’ve talked to who has tried one of these out, this stroller is anything but.

How about storage? The eddie bauer stroller has a removable front tray which a juice box holder. It also has a bottle bag on the canopy. There’s one more tray which is on the handle. It doesn’t have any large storage area for storing anything that’s a bit more sizeable.

Also, it seems the front foot rest isn’t adjustable… which kind of defeats the whole purpose of having it if your child isn’t the “perfect” size required by this stroller. It won’t be long until your child grows a bit larger, and his or her ankles will be hitting the foot rest.

So, as you can tell, this isn’t really a stroller I recommend. For the money, you can get a much better stroller made by another company. Maybe a Graco, a Maclaren, a Chicco, or pretty much any of the leading brands have better strollers in this price range.

The other Eddie Bauer stroller I’d like to talk about is the Vector Sport baby stroller.

This is only $70 when I last checked, although maybe it was in a sale. This is a basic titanium lightweight stroller. It has a 5 point harness, which is what you need. It has an adjustable canopy (adjustable to three different positions I think). It’s designed like a three wheel model, but with four wheels, the two front ones being very close together.

To be honest… I don’t know anything more I can say for this stroller, because there are just better one’s out there made by different companies. Now obviously this is just my opinion. Maybe some people like Eddier Bauer strollers, but if you were to ask for my opinion… I would say keep away from them. They don’t have many features, they aren’t easy to move, and they lack in many of the areas that other strollers cater for very well.

Anyway, I hope this has helped shed some light on Eddie Bauer strollers. I hope my opinions haven’t come across as too harsh. Save your money, and buy a better stroller.

Today I’m going to talk about another good brand of baby stroller called Maclaren.

One of the most popular baby strollers made my Maclaren is the Maclaren Volo Stroller. These aren’t too expensive, at around $110 the last time I checked.

The Maclaren Volo’s are lightweight strollers. The chassis, which makes up a large part of the stroller (after all, there isn’t really much to this stroller) weighs only 8.6 lbs. It has the bare basic features of an adjustable 5-point harness (you really need a 5-point harness to make sure your baby is safe, 3 point harnesses are becoming rarer these days).

And like all good lightweight strollers, the Maclaren Volo is easy and quick to fold. You can even carry it on your shoulder, with the strap that’s provided.

This stroller really does fold up quite small, so it’s perfect for throwing into your car trunk (or even the back seat if you don’t have room in your trunk… that’s how small it folds up).

Another popular model of Maclaren stroller is the Maclaren Quest Sport stroller. This stroller is also classed as a lightweight stroller, but it has a few extra features. It also costs a bit more, at $200.

One of its most useful extra features is the leg rest that can give your baby a little boost to keep him or her comfortable due to the extra support.

Something you need to know about this stroller is that its appropriate for babies of 3 months and up to 55lbs.

A nice feature of this stroller is how easy it is to move. It really does perform very well when it comes to manoeuvrability. But I think the wheels could be a little better. But it won’t really be a problem if you stick to sidewalks, although it may have a little trouble with slighter rougher terrain.

The last type of stroller made by Maclaren that I want to talk about today is the Maclaren Techno. This is a little more price at $300. You can also get in “twin stroller” form, for around $60 extra.

This is another lightweight stroller by Maclaren. It weighs only 14.5lbs, but it packs a lot more features than the other two. The first extra feature is the seats ability to recline back pretty much all the way (something like 140 degrees). Which is this useful? Simply because it makes this stroller suitable for newborns as well.

It also has a large mesh undercarriage storage basket which is great for keeping things in. It also has a plastic rain cover, which is useful… and now always found on lightweight strollers.

Today I’m going to talk about a popular manufacturer of baby strollers, Peg Perego.

Peg Perego make middle range to top of the line baby strollers. The prices range from around $150 to over $300.

One of their popular (and more expensive strollers) is the “Peg Perego P3 Ultimate All-Around Stroller”. This is a single, lightweight stroller. Some of its key features include a 5 point harness (which is becoming the norm these days), a retractable car seat which can also attach on to a Primo Viaggio car seat (although you need to buy one of those separately to do this). But if you do buy one separately, it makes it very easy to move your baby from stroller to car seat.

You get the feeling that the Peg Perego stroller was build for ease of use in mind. For example, the front bumper and child tray are easily removed (and opened) with just a touch of a button. The handles are very comfortable to hold, and easily adjustable. You even get your own cup holder!

Another good feature of the Peg Perego stroller is its looks. I admit this isn’t one of the most important features of a baby stroller, but it does look good. It’s Italian designed, and has an obvious fashion sense to it. You won’t be embarrassed to push this baby stroller around town. And your baby will look very cute in it!

Another popular baby stroller made by Peg Perego is the “Pliko Lite”. This model is around $230, and as you may be able to tell from the name, one of it’s main features is that it’s a lightweight stroller.

This is a much simpler stroller than the “ultimate” one. But this is always the case with a lightweight stroller. But one of the good things about this stroller is that it doesn’t sacrifice key features. For example, it still has a useful canopy, a storage compartment (which is in the canopy), and a cup holder.

This stroller (like all the Peg Perego’s) has sturdy wheels as well, which is great for slightly rougher terrain. Although this isn’t really an off-road stroller.

In the end, the Pliko Lite is a very good lightweight stroller. It has jnust enough features to make it useful, but not so much that it becomes a standard stroller rather than a lightweight stroller.

Today I’m going to talk about the different kinds of “double” baby strollers.

So let’s get started:

Nearly every company who manufacturers baby strollers, has at least a few double baby strollers. One of the most popular double strollers is made by InStep. It’s called the InStep Mall Cruiser, and it is one of middle range double baby strollers at around $175 online.

One of the most important features of a baby stroller is how easy it is to push. And this stroller copes very well. It will quite easily tackle slightly rough terrain (gravel, for example) due to its robust wheels.

It also has a little parent console where you can store things. It isn’t huge, but it’s another to carry a few items like a cell phone and a bottle of water.

The InStep double stroller can take around 100lbs of weight, which is quite a sizeable amount when you consider how much it weighs itself. It’s obviously made of high quality materials. Which is what you should expect from a middle of the range stroller.

This double baby stroller (in case you haven’t seen a picture of it) has three wheels. To large wheels at the back, and a swivel wheel at the front. You can also lock the front wheel if you like. Some parents aren’t keen on swivel wheels, but I think it works very well with this model.

If you’re looking for a double baby stroller, then you may want to consider getting a “twin” stroller. In case you don’t know, a twin stroller is basically two single strollers stuck together.

A popular twin stroller is made by Chicco. It’s called the Chicco Citta Twin Stroller. It costs around $140 last time I checked, so it’s a little cheaper than the InStep… but not much.

The Chicco twin stroller can take less weight than the InStep. Each seat can take around 37 lbs before you run into problems. But this is usually enough for most parents needs.

One of the advantages of these twin strollers is that they are very lightweight, and easy to get into your front door, or the trunk of your car.

It has a 5 point harness as standard, which is really much better than the 3 point harness. It keeps your child much more secure.

This stroller is very easy steer, which is a necessity if you have other kids as well. Because you need to keep an eye of the other children, and not be preoccupied with trying to steer your stroller! The twin stroller makes this easy.

Other strollers that are similar to the Chicco Citta are the “Graco Duorider Colburn” which is around $117. Also, you can get a similar kind of design called the double side-by-side stroller. A good example of this design is the “Tango side by side strollers”. They are quite a bit more expensive, at around $330. But they are very stable, and have the added protection of a front bar across the two seats. It also has quite a few other features (which is what you should expect for $330).

Peg Perego also makes a lightweight side by side stroller, which is around $300. I personally prefer the Tango because I like the design and the features. But the Peg Perego is quite similar.

If you’ve got money to burn, you might like to get a double baby stroller called the “BOB revolution duallie sport utility stroller”. This weighs in at a whopping $530, so it’s definitely a top of the range baby stroller.

This is a three wheeled stroller. It has a suspension system that can move 3 inches, which cuts down on the bouncing and vibrations quite a lot. Your baby won’t feel a thing.

The front wheel can be locked which makes it much safer when you’re off road or going for a run. The rear wheels even feature brakes. The canopies are both independently adjustable. The shoulder harness is padded and very comfortable for your child. This really is a luxury stroller.

If you’re thinking of getting this top of the line double baby stroller, then bare in mind you’re child needs to be at least 6-8 weeks old to ride in it, because he or she needs to be able to support their own head.

Graco are a very popular brand of baby stroller. Not only do they make baby strollers, but they also make other travel systems such as baby car seats, but I’m just going to talk about their baby strollers today.

Graco make a few double strollers, and this is what I’ll talk about today. One of Graco’s most popular double strollers is the “graco duo glider stroller”. These cost around $130 online.

Some of the features you first notice about this stroller is its very large storage basket, which comes in very handy. It also has trays in front of the seats, so your child can put things there. It even has cupholders.

The rear seat is also slightly elevated, so the child in the rear can still see where you’re going. It’s the little touches like this that show Graco have thought out the design of their strollers.

The stroller’s removable seats pads are quite easy to clean. You simply remove them and wash them in cold water. You need to wash them on a delicate cycle however, and they need to be drip dried.

Okay, so that’s the standard features of this Graco stroller. But what’s it like to use? One of the main benefits of getting a quality brand name stroller like Graco, is how it performs.

The wheels on this stroller are very study, and they can take you anywhere… through dirt, gravel or mud, this stroller can probably handle it. It’s also very durable, and is more than likely to outlast the amount of time you’ll be needing it (because you’re kids will grow up faster than you think!)

If you’re not looking for a double stroller… then Graco also offer some other strollesr you might like to consider. One of these is the Graco Giselle Mosaic Stroller. This is also around $130 (the last time I checked) and is a very high quality baby stroller.

One of the best features of these stroller is the fact that it is quite lightweight, so it isn’t too tiring to push around for long periods of time. But many owners find that it’s not so lightweight that it doesn’t feel “sturdy”. (If you’ve used a lightweight stroller before, I’m sure you know what I mean).

And the last stroller I will recommend to you today is the Graco Samba European Quattro Tour Stroller. This is another one baby stroller, and it’s slightly more expensive… but more features. This Graco baby stroller is around $175.

Firstly, this is a “deluxe” kind of stroller. It’s made from good quality materials, and it’s very safe and stable.

The storage baskets are very large, and have more than enough room to put any blankets, diaper bags or spare clothing you want to take out with you.

It also has a large canopy, which can protect your child from the sun at almost any angle.

And it’s also a very stylish looking baby stroller! You will love pushing this stroller around town.

Another type of stroller that I would like to talk about today is the “jogging stroller”.

This kind of stroller is great for outdoors types. Or you could even use it as a backup to a standard stroller, but many parents are comfortable with using these as everyday strollers as well.

The main features of this kind of stroller are its large and study frame, with strong tires and sleek frames. They often have suspension systems suitable for different kinds of terrain, and sometimes have hand grip brakes.

This kind of stroller is designed for the person who likes to be outdoors, and travel over rougher terrain occasionally. It goes without saying that this kind of baby stroller works fine on any surface.

Something you might need to know about these strollers is that they usually don’t fold as flat as a different type of stroller (like a lightweight or standard). So if you don’t really need an all-terrain stroller, and you’re looking for an “everyday” use kind of stroller, then you may want to look for a different kind. If you travel a lot, you may want to look at a lightweight stroller instead.

If you’re child is under 6 months, jogging strollers aren’t recommended.

Today I’m going to talk about another kind of baby stroller called the “standard stroller”.

As you can tell by the name, this is usually a “standard” stroller. What I mean by this is that it’s heavier than a lightweight stroller, and has more features.

These extra features are usually things like larger seats, bigger wheels and more space to store things in. Sometimes they have added luxuries like music systems, and other things to entertain your child.

These strollers are great for most situations. They are very versatile and suit the needs of most parents. If you like to travel, then a standard stroller will work for you because nearly all standard strollers fold… usually with a useful one-handed mechanism which makes folding a breeze.

Standard strollers, however, tend to take up more space in the trunk of your car… and are much heavier to lift out of your car (compared to a lightweight stroller especially).

They can also be more difficult to manoeuvre in a busy crowded place (like when you’re out shopping) so a standard stroller isn’t necessarily for everyone.

If you need more storage space, and you would like extra features then a standard stroller may be best for you. But if manoeuvring and weight are a bigger concern, you may want to look for a different kind of baby stroller.

Today I’m going to talk about the different kinds of baby strollers that are on the market.

The first kind of stroller I’m going to talk about is the “lightweight strollers”. Modern lightweight baby strollers usually weigh under 20 pounds.
